Hi Folks,

Wow have we been on a rollercoaster this past week. Snow, warm, bitter cold... What's next folks? On the good side the ice is fat and blue. Honestly it doesn't get a whole lot better for the first week of March, other than maybe being a tad warmer. HA

So I got out on Tuesday to the North End of Cathedral. I rode the fat tire bike down the road, which was a mess, and climbed Thresher and the Pillars. Both were in great shape.

Today, after I took the pictures, I met up with a new friend James and climbed Pegasus in the Amphitheater. It was in generally great shape, tho was a little bit of a mess at the top as it so often is. The rest of the Amphitheater was in good shape as well. There were parties on Hobbit, the Pegasus Rock Finish, Smear, Cave Route and Chia. Quite a busy day for a very chilly Thursday.

As I was processing the pictures I noticed that I had unknowingly captured a climber on Repentance at about 9 AM with Remission in the foreground. That kind of thing has happened before as I can't really see the details from where I am shooting and it's always a cool revelation. Here's the image:

As always the climb-by-climb pics are on Facebook and NEClimbs.com.

VALLEY CYCLING:
With the snow we got on Sunday/Monday it made a bit of a mess on the groomed trails. However, the snowmobile trails are now well groomed and packed, as is Whittaker Woods. So there are definitely places here & there to ride.

Mobile Version Of NEClimbs:
Up on one of the Mount Washington Valley's finest crags and want to know what that climb you're looking at is? Or maybe you're on your way up from Boston and want to check out the Ice Report for your upcoming weekend plans. Or more likely, you're at work just want to daydream about your next adventure. Well if you have a smart phone handy, you can get to NEClimbs from anywhere you have cell service. While it doesn't offer every single feature of the site and it's not an "app", in mobile form, it does do a whole lot and is very useful. Here is the live link to the mobile version of NEClimbs:
