Hi Folks,
I was able to get out to the gym and grocery store this morning, but it's been raining cats & dogs off and on all afternoon. There are occasional pop-up flood warnings coming across my phone so I don't know what to think. Just when I think we are headed into a real summer, this happens. Let's hope fall is better...

July is a full slate of gigs and next week starts it all off. Private party on Tuesday the 4th with Jim McLaughlin Group, Wednesday 5:30-7:30 again with Jim at the Saco River Brewing Company in Fryeburg, one more with Jim & the boyz at Ledge Brewing Company in Intervale and then my steady bebop/funk jazz gig on the pier at Weirs beach on Sunday the 16th 6-9.
The bug status totally depends on when and where you are. Deep woods it's one thing, up on the cliff or out cruising on the bike it's another. The downhill trails at Cranmore or in the Hurricane Zone have been minimal, but standing around at the base of Cathedral or over at Moose Brook it's a whole another thing. Just leave the bug dope in the pack friends. You will be happier...
I rode a bunch of downhill at Cranmore this week and it was great, in spite of the rains. Tuesday I rode from the top of the chair lift across the mountain to the Kettle Korn connector to Tornado. The traverse road has been graded and was in good shape and other than a few rocks here & there Tornado was great.
Up on one of the Mount Washington Valley's finest crags and want to know what that climb you're looking at is?
