BugCON 1: very minimal bugs
1 out of a possible 5
Climbing Area Index / Cathedral Ledge / Reincarnation (A3)
Directions:  This is an arÍte just right of Wildebeast in the Beast 666 amphitheater.
Description: An unknown party attempted this arÍte as a free climb by placing two bolts to direct a top rope. The first two bolts are not needed for the aid climb, but do make the protection very good. The second part of the climb follows and finishes an old aid attempt at a second pitch of Wildbeast. The Pitch ends at a new two-bolt ring anchor at the end of the first pitch of Wild.
Pitch 1: Start at a thin crack just right of Wildbeast at a fixed bashie. Many small nuts lead up a thin crack that starts to fade at 50 feet. Shakey pins lead up and left to a mixed hook and bolt traverse that takes the climber to the previously unfinished second pitch of Wildbeast. A bolt and fixed pin lead to more hooks and the last few moves of Wild at a good ledge. 120'

Gear: Pitons, hooks and small nuts are needed.
Descent: rappel from anchors
History:  September 1997 - Paul Cormier, Brad White
