Directions:  Hike up as to the Whitney-Gilman Ridge on the left side of the cliff and into the huge cleft on the right side of the ridge. The climb starts directly above the belay for the first pitch of the Black Dike.
Description: Climb up mixed rock and ice directly off the belay. Climb the rock, reasonable small cams and nuts, past 2 fixed pins. Make a tricky rock move to a stance just below the ice. Climb the overhanging runnel of ice to a good screw belay below a short curtain. Continue up and left to the tree belay at the last pitch of the Dike.
Gear: standard ice rack plus small cams and wired nuts
Descent: rappel the route or continue to the top and walk off as for the Dike
History:  February 1979 - Chris Hassig
