So we've certainly had our ups and downs with the early season ice so far. Of course this is not totally unusual, just somewhat annoying. We all get ready to climb ice, and it rains and warms up. However, all this rain is surely piping water into the system and that's a good thing. Check out this week's INSTANT ICE REPORT for my take on how things are looking. I think you'll be surprised.

VALLEY CYCLING:
I did a short ride yesterday here by Echo Lake on the fat tire bike. The woods are almost clear of snow, but there is ice here & there and under the leaves so I was happy for the studded tires. I've been seeing cars at the Marshall property so I would well imagine that those trails are quite rideable as well.
Mobile Version Of NEClimbs:
Up on one of the Mount Washington Valley's finest crags and want to know what that climb you're looking at is? Or maybe you're on your way up from Boston and want to check out the Ice Report for your upcoming weekend plans. Or more likely, you're at work just want to daydream about your next adventure. Well if you have a smart phone handy, you can get to NEClimbs from anywhere you have cell service. Climbing is a very dangerous sport. You can get hurt or even kill yourself. When you go climbing, you do so of your own free will. Everything on this site is to be taken with a grain of salt. Don't blame us if you get up some totally heinous route, in over your head and fall and hurt yourself.
