NEClimbs - information for New Hampshire, Maine and Vermont rock and ice climbers
IceCON 1. Climbs just coming in or only in upper elevations like Ravines.
1 out of a possible 5
Climbing Area Index / Attitash Crag / Evil Twin (open project) (5.12c)
Directions:  50 feet to the right of The Flying Jib, there is a steep buttress jutting out from the main wall - The Torch Buttress. There are two difficult routes on the front face of this formation; they are somewhat similar in appearance but are very different in character. They end at the same double ring anchor. Probably hard 5.12.
Description: If you can get it, it's yours!
Pitch 1: Climb the thin, enticing finger-crack on the left side of the front face of the buttress. When the crack ends abruptly at the roof, make a puzzling, and extremely hard, set of moves over the lip, then stroll to the anchor.

Gear: standard rack with gear smaller than 1 inch
Descent: Rap from anchor.
