 route description
Climbing Area Index / Cathedral Ledge / The Arete (variation) (5.10d)
Directions:  Start from the single bolt belay at the top of the first pitch of Youth Challenge.
Description: The great thing about this variation is that it is much better protected than the original start to The ArÍte.
    Pitch 1: Climb the crack that arches into the small roof that's on the arÍte. Finish as per The Arete.
Gear: standard rack, double ropes may be useful but long slings will do
Descent: rappel or finish as desired
