Climbing Area Index / Sandwich Notch / Rootie Tootie (5.9)
Directions:  Just left of Brilliant Corners. Look for a small overhang with a crack going up from the overhand.
Description: A typical George Hurley adventure climb. Recommended for leaders solid at the grade; flakey protection on the steep climbing before you reach the one bolt.
Pitch 1: Climb the crack on the left side of the south-facing cliff. When the crack becomes too thin to be useful, move right, then up to a bolt. Climb up and left from the bolt, aiming for a small overhang on the left edge of the face. From the small overhang, follow the left edge of the face to the top, where there are trees for anchoring.

Gear: standard rack
Descent: rappel from a small tree
History:  October 29,1996 - George Hurley, Mike Kahn
