NEClimbs - information for New Hampshire, Maine and Vermont rock and ice climbers
BugCON 4: almost too intense for climbing, DEET required
4 out of a possible 5
Climbing Area Index / Mt. Oscar (lower left) / Bob Loblaw (5.7+)
Directions:  Start 20’ right of Oscar’s Last Stand.
Description: A very cool situation. Originally it was done with no bolts as you move out the dishes & left, but that was very problematic. Double ropes help on this one.
Pitch 1: Climb up and left using large solution crystal pockets to first and second bolt. Climb excellent 5.7 crack with beautiful rough rock to the top.

Gear: standard rack
Descent: rap the route with swing right to the ground
